Born and raised in Uzbekistan, I moved to Petropalovsk-Kamchatsky at the age of 30 in 1993. This is the most eastern city of the entire northern hemisphere with a population more than 100000 people. The peninsula of Kamchatka is all about volcanoes, geysers, stunning coasts of the Pacific Ocean where the sand has gained the colour of black. I graduated from a technical university and had been working as an engineer for all my life, but living in Kamchatka, a place of power, surrounded by magnificent nature, a desire to create beauty with my own hands woke up in my sole. That time I was carried away by making compositions and bouquets using satin ribbons. After moving to the city of Krasnodar in 2018, I got a lot of free time and thus I decided to go ahead with creating three-dimensional panels. Having studied numerous methods of making different kinds of mass for modeling, I settled on using cardboard egg packaging. Such pakages are already made of recycled materials and can't go through the recycling process again, so using them for creating panels is an eco-friendly way to give them the second life. Plus, products made from such a mass are strong and durable. At the moment, I am closely engaged in the creation of dimensional panels combining such techniques as papermache, ceramic floristry, paperclay, acrylic pouring (fluid art). Materials that I use: mass for papier-mache made of egg trays, polymer clay, cold porcelain, acrylic paints, acrylic varnish, plywood, tree branches, cardboard.
