About The Artwork
This one of a kind basket reveals stripes of pink, grey and seagrass. The colors were achieved through a hot dyeing process using crushed iron oxides (rocks/minerals) and salts. The open shape separates the tightly woven reeds with the delicacy of the winery grown grapevines. 15" wide x 8" deep. Can be displayed horizontally on a surface or hung on a wall as a three dimensional wall sculpture for dramatic effect.
