About The Artwork
Stone with silver spheres. A unique stone from the South Wales coastline thought to be Blue Lias which is from the Triassic and early Jurassic times, between 195 and 200 million years old. Formed by nature with the continous ebbing and flowing of the tide over all those many years and refined by the sculptor working on the original shape to discover 'The Beggar'.
