Maria has always had the gift of healing, she realized that through allopathic medicine many patients did not heal completely or even because of the side effects of the medications, they got worse, looking for new methods, she began to include in her treatments the equinoterapia, the treatment immediately improved the past. Between her husband (a renowned dentist from Puerto Vallarta) and she had 19 horses. Their life mission was being supported by the loving animals but the misfortune came when all the dead horses woke up overnight, a deadly virus left them without life. Shattered by the news, the doctor fell into depression, allowing Maria to take the reins and start looking for new ways to get over the pain and continue helping others. He found a corn-based medication that began to replace horse therapy, nature became his medicine. In this work I present Mary transformed into a resilient, strong mare, who from now on will lead the way with wisdom and humility. She carries in her arms the heart of the horse (her husband) filled with white gold, medicine: corn. Her children sprout from her arms, on the left side is a male hare that represents her son, much more dependent on her than looking for her, on her right side is her daughter, looking beyond, to undertake her own search. Together as a family they will walk paths of healing and growth

What I love doing the most is sculptures: textile, bronze and aluminum✨. I love color and creating magical realism scenes. •My themes focus on the representation of animals as a visual metaphor for the mental-emotional states of humans.
