Ukrainian Art Sculpture Painting. Ukrainian folk theme. Man and women, a married couple, are wearing traditional Ukrainian costumes. Man is wearing the national clothes of Ukrainian Cossacks - sharovary (trousers), wide belt, and vyshyvanka (embroidered shirt). In Ukraine, there is a good old custom: a good guest never shows up empty-handed. This Ukrainian couple honors traditions, they came with generous gifts: a big bottle of horilka (Ukrainian home-distilled alcoholic beverage), bagels, and goose. The artwork is made in a mixed technic as painting and sculpture. It is assembled from more than 50 elements. To make my artworks, I use modeling clay, fabric, wood, veneer, cardboard, acrylic, gouache, tempera, watercolor, acrylic lacquer.
