The Wanderer (self portrait) 2 Sculpture

My work is often autobiographical and intimate and deals with absence/ presence and memories, repetition, heritage and belonging. Displacement, identity, time & place, and lost, broken, fragmented and discarded objects are some of my main themes throughout my works. I also walk as part of my art practice and I collect things as I walk. Sometime I set myself rules about the size of objects I pick up and how many I am allowed to collect on each walk. The found object is core to my practice. My work is mostly installation based or sculptural. I have recently began experimenting with performance and film.
