Think BIG Sculpture

This one of a kind lamp is handmade out of derelict and genuine airplane parts from world renowned brands such as Fokker, Rolls Royce and Pratt and Whitney. The base is made of a so called 'centercap' this is a maintenance tool to close down a Rolls Royce turboprop engine when stored.To make sure the heavy arm and shade have the right support, this base element is loaded with four 20kg concrete parts. Closed off by a bottom plate containing six genuine artifort ball wheels. The middle part (Arm) is a so called 'flap track installation rib' and is made out of several different high strength alloys. The lamp 'shade' is a so called 'turbo air intake' and is machined, welded and coated with a high strength titanium coating. The light source used is a remote control led light that has several intelligent light programs and is dimmable.
