TiTT n Tafoukt or the eye of the sun is a statue which represents the Amazigh woman (the Amazigh word which means free). This artwork is inspired by Isni, frontal jewelry made of silver horns, widespread from the Aït Baâmrane tribe (Morocco). At the same time it allows us to meditate on the relationship of this jewelry with the Statue of Liberty (New York, United States) The head is composed of an egg which symbolizes infinity, an eye is drawn on each of the two ends and which passes through a bowl which symbolizes abundance.

Morocco
Khalid Assallami is a self-taught Moroccan artist born in Agadir in 1983. The artist's work is a form of union between his culture, his different beliefs and symbols that flow from it and his own sensitivity. Through his installations deliberately resuscitated from a process of recycling wood, iron and the use of natural pigments, the artist seeks to embark us on pagan stories very buried in his universe in order to enlighten our gaze towards a source age-old and immemorial culture not widely exposed and generally misunderstood. The artistic approach is as much personal as collective insofar as the artist allows himself to appropriate the myth not exclusively for the purpose of personal exhibitions but with the aim of also creating cultural bridges and arousing questioning. on our ancestral assets in common in spaces where points in common can be created and where a dialogue can at least open up.
