About The Artwork

Ancient Bog Oak approx 5000 years old sits on Stainless Steel uprights which rest in a polished Granite base. The wood has been discoloured over the many years it lay in rest in the peat soils of Ireland, sculpted and formed by Mother Nature during the period. The "True Colours" are revealed through the various Oil colours seen on the Granite base, dripped from each of the significant outwardly features of the Oak.
