This sculpture is one of a serie of clay figures about daily life and dreams that sometimes come together. As a child I went to Spain for the holidays and came in contact with the flamenco: the passion, the rythms, the guitars, the clapping, the colors, the fire.... I loved it at once! Finally many years later I had my first flamenco dance lessons...

One of my favourite topics is The Fragility of Life, particularly from a feminine point of view. Born in the Netherlands, studied and lived in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
