About The Artwork
Inspired by my passion for nature and fishing.The daily struggles for survival and the ever present threat of being eaten. The twisting of the wood grains and the shape of the wood reminded me of tailing Red fish I have seen searching for food in the shallows.The shrimp is the natural prey of such fish.The fluid motion of the wood grains bring a sense of movement as if water flowed over the piece.
