About The Artwork
A delicate lace design carved into a hand selected ostrich egg shell with the greatest of care and attention to detail, the design and carving is done by hand using a micromotor drill and is not reproduced. Included with this egg is a warthog tusk stand shown in the attached pictures. I live and produce these carved eggs in Oudtshoorn, South Africa the ostrich farming capital.

I am a self taught artist who began carving ostrich egg shells while working with my father making souvenirs for his shop in Oudtshoorn South Africa, the ostrich farming capital. I soon began to experiment with my own designs during my spare time in hopes of marketing them to the international art community.
