About The Artwork

"Every time I come, you have the nose in the air. "" You never do anything like the others. " Yes, Madam, with respect, I have other natural aptitudes than you, like about 12% of my classmates: These are creative gifts, as necessary as yours. " It is clear that at this time of my first schooling, I didn't have the maturity to do such a repartee. It was a speech that I'm happy to give now. I didn't enter the forms, because I was creating incessant scenarios that couldn't result, and was inhabited by very powerful feelings. It was necessary that I say it in a shape. The shape, related to the genre and artistic discipline, I worked it late, often because the world is afraid of free gestur; but I confess, by lack of faith too. After many years of not believing in me, watching myself, escaping in an imaginary world, I finally started to accept the look of the One who is infinitely merciful on me, saying to me continually, "You're a wonder in my eyes, and I love you ". So I stood up and I try to honor now increasingly the gift He makes to me, to express the Beauty and the Light. In front of my drawing sheet, this is not a natural form as such I try to express, but the movement, fluidity (I discovered it recently, that these are qualities of air and water) and the overflowing and exuberant life, that I see in Nature, in others, and in my heart: "Everything rejoices and sings "(Psalm 64) My artworks could be classified as « Lyric abstraction ». All are both sides. In parallel, I search in other artistic disciplines, while wanting to hoe my own row. Specifically, I sought my way in the drawing and ceramic, by one year in the ARAC in 2003 , in Tours, but mainly self-taught. In the 1990 s, visiting the Musée Guimet in Paris, at the Chinese lacquer floor , I was completely enchanted : I found myself faced with the art of magnificence. I could'nt really appraise how much sublime equated with length of time and immense knowledges . It took me a while to undersdand: an year of the teaching, in 2007, in lacquer section of the « Ateliers de la Ville de Paris » No, I had to find a faster expression way for my imagination and my exuberant creative energy. Back, then, to ceramics, to clay (my name Adam means "loamy /clay") with whom I have a great affinity, and enamel, whose bright colors pleasantly surprise, coming out of the oven. Note that I associate ceramic with a kind of lacquer (from Asia), and I intend to greatly benefit from the knowledge I nevertheless acquired in this wonderful art. After a long ripening, I decided not to create privatly, but to expose and turn it into a profession. I started by exposing in craft fairs, that made me understand that art and art lovers must meet in the same place ; and for this, I decided to meet the gallery owners. I give you a "hot" experience: My first exhibition in Tours (France) had to be stopped because it opened in the evening of Islamist attacks in Paris on 13 November 2016, and the next morning, all the public rooms were closed. I thank you very much, in advance, for your attention to my work, and wish you a very pleasant visit. My ideal conception of the job: "Get out of yourself everything that can help you and the other to move towards his full humanity" Peace and joy to all of you. ADAM
