Chamotte sculptures form the "Holova / Head" cycle. From the beginning of her creativity Liudmyla Davydenko works with the images of human faces and figures, creating emotional associative compositions, at the core of which is the "head" – "the receptacle of thoughts" and emotions. After graduating from the art academy, Liudmila Davydenko transferred her experience in ceramics into painting; ceramics, in general, had a great influence on her approach to work. In 2017, Liudmila returned to sculpting from clay (chamotte) for creating-weaving "emotions" in volume. Since then, she simultaneously works with ceramics and painting, and a special approach to the process of creation combines her planar and voluminous work. Paintings and sculptures "from the lines and plexuses" complement each other, while each one is unique.
