About The Artwork
Varnished iron. My aim in these new works si to avance towards some sort of minimalismo, or like Van Der Rohe once said: less is more. I strive towards more time planning and drawing and less time in the workshop as I believe that some of us, artists, are more of an intelectual and less of an artisan. Also, the advantage of not filling in spaces with textures as I once did, is that I can concentrate wholly on my favorite themes: The beauty of the human body and a well balanced composition
