"Urban loneliness" is a questioning of the part of humanity that each of us builds with and in relation to others. Can we preserve intact this part of ourselves, passing so close to those fallen on the sidewalks of our cities and our shores? The consciousness we have of the strained thread of our life, intertwines with the broken threads of those of others. "The one who fades" is as much by himself as by me. The use of colored gray predominantly present in this series evokes spaces-time between dream and reality. The presence of silhouettes, a central photographic contribution to the work echoes the subject: the individual asleep in the public space. The space is treated in floating, punctuated with perspectives thus translating the escape of the individual by the dream, the evasion of the being of the daily vicissitudes. Each canvas is imbued with a color other than gray, extracted from the reality of the photographic work: yellow, a piece of cover; red, a poster; blue, a car (...) These bright, vivid colors echo our urban reality.
