ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I like to use materials in a different way than their original purpose.This wooden sculpture is a composition of 4 cupboard legs with 2 small wooden balls. This structure creates two eyes that have a penetrating expression: staring eyes. The inside of the curves are covered with gold leaf. In this way they catch the light and reflect it. This is the second "eyes" composition (after 'Looking'). Size plinth : diameter 9 cm / height 15 cm. Size eyes : height 12 cm / width 24 cm / depth 7 cm.
