Giulia Aim was born in 1998. She is a multimedia artist from Rome, and currently lives and works in London, UK. Lately, her work examines contemporary social dynamics, in particular vices and addictions. She explores the 21st-century human aspirations and desires observing the younger generation and mass media. Giulia analyzes the various positive and negative aspects of the arrival of technology and the new contemporary lifestyles. She is working in the area of conceptual art, using clay and ready-made objects to create 3D paintings. The use of industrial and daily consumed items reflects the bigger scenario of our society. The use of irony and colours is key in her work. Colours are bright and combined in a certain way, always inspired by pop art.
