Drawing which I practiced extensively naturally led me to painting. Today, color and material have taken centre stage, sometimes to the point where form disappear.
Figuration and abstraction both are ways of conveying a perception of the world.

My work is inspired by nature , its strength, its mystery, open spaces and their nuances. I am particularly drawn to the relationships between depth, light and lines that shape landscapes. Architecture interest me for what it reveals about space and our perception of a place.
My work moves toward a simplification of forms, allowing material, color and light to take over.
For me painting is an invitation to poetry, dream and imagination.
