Studied Fine Art at Rhodes University, South Africa, (1971). A member of the Grahamstown Group (1969 - 1978). Appointed Head of Photography (1975 - 1985) and Head of The Painting and Drawing School at Rhodes University (1985 - 1996) Moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1997.
