Die Luft ging duch die Felder, die Ähren wogten sacht, Es rauschten leis die Wälder, so sternklar war die Nacht. Und meine Seele spannte weit ihre Flügel aus, Flog durch die stillen Lande, als flöge sie nach Haus."
