in this piece it is me sitting inside a world of my making, surrounded by my paintings, and me, digitally altered in a digital world, the feeling of having to blur certain aspects out of myself like the things that make me human, are the same things that need to be censored in day to day life and on social media, such as nipples. I use those ideas and use a digital paint brush to color over parts of my human flesh to make my body a painting. Directly behind me you see the tool bar I used to alter this image in Photoshop, so as to make the process of creating this piece the actual art itself as well. It's a kind of visual representation of how the world will view me, versus my own interpretation of me and my life, via the artwork i've made as seen behind me.
