About The Artwork

Composed of acrylic, charcoal, graphite, removable rewritable storage keys, garment tags, cardboard, an orange thread, a cell phone part, this abstract composition is reminiscent of mid-century abstracts, bauhaus architecture and ready-made art. The surface is embellished with bold colors of red, orange, yellow off-white and blue. Title is inspired by Dali's famous work, bringing it a 21st century street art flair. Taking "reduce, reuse, recycle" principle to the next level I build abstract minimalistic 2d and 3d art with found objects from modern hi-tech world. Disassembled gadgets become pieces of the puzzle that join paint and clay in the multi-layered artworks. The outcome is deconstructed to the extent that meaning is shifted and is open for interpretation.
