About The Artwork

In a whimsical display of magic and humor. A golden teapot hovers gracefully, pouring liquid into a blue and gold teacup adorned with stars, as if time itself slows to admire the spectacle. Surrounding the scene, pink and purple flowers add to the enchantment against a backdrop of dark green. It's a playful and fantastical moment captured in an imaginary world where even teatime becomes a delightful adventure.

Oly Roberts is a visionary artist living in Surrey (England) whose journey has been shaped by a deep passion for visual storytelling Why my art? - I feel like a long time ago I left a beautiful universe where life consisted completely of illusions. It was a place where I felt at home. The inhabitants were ephemeral creatures with magical abilities and had the essence of good-natured and not serious angels. They continued to create this world through illusions. I miss that universe very much and every time I create my art I want so much to bring it here and share its beauty and magical touch with others. - - - - - - I love a combination of bold rich colours, well-defined shapes and natural organic lines. I have several art styles and artists that inspire me, such as Helen Dryden, Erte, Georges Lepape and many others. I usually create digital art starting with sketches for which I always use pencils and paper because it feels that my thoughts and visions transform more easily and naturally this way. I am used to digital mediums because of my educational background and also I have more freedom to express my ideas that way.
