telling hands Print - Limited Edition of 50

Hands don't lie. I like the stories these hands are telling, about the person, their disposition, their thoughts, the reason behind that, the setting. This is part of an ongoing exploration into midjourney, a generative ai text-to-image platform. I've mostly been experimenting in non-prompting, i.e. keeping my prompts to a bare minimum of 3, 2 and sometimes just one word. (in this case 2 words). I'm intrigued by the stylistic choices made by the ai based on just these two simple words. My intent in in my approach is letting go of the need to control the outcome, and letting the mechanism do its own hallucinating, with minimum interference on my part. This has led to consistently interesting and surprising results. At time it feels like a kind of conversation. There is also this feeling of looking into someone else's dreams, or sinking your head into the collective unconscious.
