Too windy for fairies Print - Limited Edition of 6

This is a high quality unframed canvas artwork produced for me by my fine art publisher. The scenery is New Zealand from a glider. A fairy was clearly having difficulties with the strong wind. Possibly she had flown too high or was just blown off course. The glider has no propeller and the pilot is well able to avoid her. I suppose she will eventually be out of the wind one way or another and be able to land. Maybe they deliberately use the wind instead of having to keep flapping their wings. Anyway it made quite a striking scene for viewers to look at. Attention to detail such as the semi transparent wings gives realism to the work as well as blending the lighting and softening the female image as she is viewed through the aircraft screen.
