About The Artwork

Man on earth contemplates and reproduces many things. In the routine of events sometimes loses a sense of rhythm of life and perhaps the moment of committing unwanted evil. These moments are reflected in the composition of the serpent - a resident of hell, who, spinning in a spiral, draws a light male figure in an attempt to seduce with sin. This work is about emotionally fragile human life, and a moment of fatigue that doubts devalues spiritual values. The content of the picture denies the viewer to repent of bad deeds and hints at learning to drive away evil thoughts. Therefore, the eloquent visual accent depicts the pitchfork of the devil, reminding that the devil is invisible, but still exists, and his power is strong. In the picture, the semantic culmination is the characters of a female figure with wings behind his back and a bird. They are instantaneous flashes in the middle of the day, appear in a fantastic way as phenomena and spontaneously change the mood, distracting from sin. A series of works made with a ballpoint pen is distinguished by painstaking detail. They have clear shading combined with smooth tonal transitions. This makes the works expressive, they are interesting to look at. Paintings are constantly taking an active part in exhibitions, and some are already the property of galleries or private collections. Therefore, this series is sold exclusively in the form of prints. I make sure that the work looks high-quality and professional, therefore the image is presented in the highest quality so that all elements of the work please the viewer to the smallest detail.

Life is constant movement in a circle of changes. Through art I am looking for a strength for life, thanks to art my mind acquires creative energy and seeks unique aesthetic pursuits in the depths of spiritual truths. Each graphic work is a study of own subconscious, an intuitive research of aesthetic ideal. The power of imagination tends to rethink the surrounding reality and to create a parallel dimension in which the ordinary is reborn into the unusual, and artistic images exist in a special space and time, dominated by a harmonious world of nature: plants, animals, celestial bodies, revealing the mystery of magical reality. - - - - - - - - - - - - Maryna Vashchenko was born and lives in Kyiv, Ukraine.
