Remembering Alan Watts, whose books, talks and tv presentations greatly influenced my perspective on life. This is a portrait I made for those of you who, like me, have learned from his words and laughed at his laughter. Originally drawn in graphite pencil (Lyra, 8B) on 300gm cold pressed watercolor Canson paper. (A5 | 148.5 x 210mm | 5.8 x 8.3in) "Alan Wilson Watts (6 January 1915 – 16 November 1973) was an English writer, speaker, and self-styled "philosophical entertainer", known for interpreting and popularizing Buddhist, Taoist, and Hindu philosophy for a Western audience."
