About The Artwork
The New Year began with a full day of drawing from the model. My close friend Annie volunteered to pose for me and many wonderful drawings were made including this portrait done in Burnt Sienna Ink. This drawing was mapped out quickly in graphite and then I began to work in ink. I think this drawing captures the joy we both felt that day, The drawing is created on Arches watercolor paper in burnt sienna Liquitex Professional Acrylic Inks. There remain a few traces of graphite on the drawing as well. The work of art is signed and I provide a certificate of authenticity.
