About The Artwork

I was able to go up the mine shaft tower and see a panoramic view of Świętochłowice, (on a clear day you can see as far as Katowice). I enjoyed learning more about the historical mine from the outdoor exhibition near the shaft.

Śląska tea o'clock, 13.09.2020 TVP info, Poland National TV appearance It is a story about a young artist from England, who, looking for himself and inspiration in his constant travels, finally found himself in Silesia. And this mining, coal Silesia, enchanted him so much that instead of becoming another, short stop on the journey, it became his second home. It is the story of an Englishman sketching the Silesian mines with coal, a story about finding himself in the difficult Silesian world. But also a story about what we, Poles, can learn from foreigners. Report by Ilona Ptak.
