The artwork presents an abstract form that intertwines and loops in on itself, creating a fluid, continuous line against a background etched with geometric lines and stippling. The form is reminiscent of calligraphic strokes, suggesting infinity or continuity. The piece is likely inspired by the themes of infinity and the continuous flow of time, as well as the aesthetic principles of minimalism and abstraction. Viewers might be prompted to contemplate the concept of endlessness and the cyclical nature of existence. The visual simplicity might evoke a sense of calm or meditative introspection. The work could also stir thoughts on the interconnectedness of all things, as the shape suggests a seamless, unbroken line of movement. The choice of etching as a medium with its precise and controlled lines allows for a stark contrast between the bold, fluid form and the meticulously detailed background. The subject matter and style are aligned with a minimalist approach, stripping away the superfluous to focus on the essence of form and the beauty of simplicity. The monochromatic color scheme emphasizes the play of light and shadow, enhancing the three-dimensional illusion and drawing attention to the form's texture. In essence, the artwork is an exploration of form and philosophy, rendered in a style that emphasizes clarity, encouraging viewers to engage with the deeper symbolism behind the simplicity of the image.

I explore the aesthetic of things through absurd, irony, abstract, and misplaced situations. In my early thirties, I joined the largest artistic avant-garde movement in the long history of the former Soviet Union. In St. Petersburg the group of artists founded the Society of Experimental Fine Arts and gave regular art exhibitions of a "new" art five years prior to the rise of Perestroika in the Soviet Union. Throughout the 1980's, my paintings were regularly shown at art exhibits. My artistic practice explores the conceptual aesthetic of things through absurd, irony and misplaced situations. It includes photo, painting, graphics, and sculpture. Since 2000s I have also been working in digital art and digital photography. Starting with raster images in Adobe Photoshop, vector graphics in Adobe Illustrator, and 3D objects in Maya/ 3ds Max, today I additionally use various text-to-image AI-driven art services like GAN & DALL·E 2 OpenAI for creating art works. My works are in Russian Museum (Saint-Petersburg, Russia), Museum of Nonconformist Art (Saint-Petersburg, Russia) and private collections in Russia, Spain, USA, Israel, France. From March 2022 I’m based in Spain. Web site: https://serge-yablonsky.co/ Arte Laguna World artist profile: https://artelaguna.world/artist/yablonsky-sergey/
