Some people consider World War One a quaint war. It wasn't. Trench warfare, poison gas, heavy casualties. My grandfather's brother fought in the Argonne. He told me exactly how he experienced it. This art is in memory of Jack Scharf - a Doughboy.

I was born into a family filled with actors, artists, composers, conductors, and soloist musicians, which I can trace back to 1835. I studied musicology and conducting yet I wound up as a writer, producer and director in film and television. I worked for Dick Clark Productions, The Johnny (Carson) Company and Paramount Pictures. In 1987 I set off on my own and produced a series of documentaries in association with such diverse organizations as NASA, the AMA and the National Football League. I retired from Show Business in 2007 and have spent the last 12 years creating works of art.
