About The Artwork

“Brain Damage/Eclipse” is part of a larger portfolio, “See What I Hear”, of illustrations based on song lyrics. The song “Brain Damage/Eclipse” was written by Roger Waters. The songs “Brain Damage” and “Eclipse", which are always played together, conclude Pink Floyd's “The Dark Side of the Moon” album. "Brain Damage" most likely reference band member Syd Barrett’s drug use and mental health issues. After its release in 1973, a fan favorite activity was to play the album while watching “The Wizard of Oz” with the film soundtrack turned off. When the song “Brain Damage” comes on, the scarecrow (who only needs a brain) starts dancing across a field. The image size is 12 x 12 in. with a 2 in. boarder. The paper size is 16 x 16 in. The giclee print is numbered and signed in the boarder below the image
