"The Poetry of the Everyday - Shopping Bags" In our society today, shaped by consumption, shopping bags hold symbols reflecting our identity as consumers. Often relegated to a secondary role, these simple yet essential kraft paper bags become canvases for reflecting on our consumption habits and societal events in art. As an artist, I strive to transform the mundane into unique expressions. I arrange the kraft paper bags into blocks upon which I paint motifs. My color palette is intentionally limited, contrasting with the diversity of products these bags once held—essential goods, everyday items, useful and dispensable things. The focus lies on the contents of the bags and the stories of their products. My art invites the viewer to discover the poetry behind these simple shopping bags. The paper bags are numbered on the back, dated 2024, and stamped with the name "Borai." The first paper bag of each block is hand-signed on the back. Technique: Kraft paper shopping bag, acrylic paint, thin acrylic varnish Presentation: The individual paper bags are numbered on the back and arranged tightly in a block from left to right. The presentation of the paper bag block on a mat inside a frame with glass/plexiglass or the free hanging of the block on the wall using acid-free adhesive pads is possible. Transport: The individual paper bags are stacked, and the bundle is shipped in a cardboard box.

Collage - Montage "There is no way around art, art is the way" projects - artrecycle | paperplaining | collaboration with artists Since 1994 I am coordinating the project "artrecycle"- global network - drawings on paper - recycling of art. "Give the paintings a second chance"- drawings, destined for the trash - the "forgotten paintings" are collected and used as material for collages, objects or installations. I love the lightness of paper, my favoured art material for paintings, collages, sculptures and installations. Mostly I am working on those projects - artrecycle and paperplaining - collaboration with artists. Through the cooperation with other artists I have developed the idea of "collages of individual ideas". Painting with fragments of "daily news". As a medium, I prefer daily newspaper paper. The information and images in the newspapers provide me with the background for my artistic work. When it comes to visual design, my motivation comes from changing what is given, using the necessary resulting artistic stylistic means. This approach can be described as "crossover". A method of conscious and unconscious work steps that leads directly to the necessary image statement, the image content. I would like to describe my work process and the result as - The Awakening of the Dream, Remembering the Future.
