About The Artwork

The piece is inspired by my interests in pop art culture, illustration and figurative expressionism. I tried to give the piece a very gestural illustrative style and yet also give it a simplified pop art color palette. The subject matter is inspired by the influence of the rock culture of the early 1970's featuring artist Alice Cooper.
