Feeding and fueling my creative expression gives me the opportunity and inspiration to explore, create, discover and delve into areas of my artistic learning curve that I never thought would be possible. I love experimenting with different techniques, applications, mediums and substrates and I feel this is manifesting in the variety and myriad expressions of the art work that I produce. Being self-taught and a songwriter, I feel that I am still on a "journey of discovery" and I am simply LOVING IT! I have discovered so much freedom and abandonment in the realms of the mixed media, abstract and pop-art movement which feels very similar to writing a well-honed song which encompasses all the subtle parts -verse, bridge and chorus - to create a beautiful ballad or soulful tune! I hope that you will enjoy and will become a collector of my artwork and travel with me on my journey!

British born Audrey Beharie-McGee is a self-taught emerging fine artist and photographer who now resides in Atlanta, GA., USA & London, UK and is married to storyboard artist and fine artist, Brian McGee. Audrey is also a singer/songwriter and performing arts coach and has always had an enormous vibrant energy, especially for singing and performing, which has fueled her creative and artistic pizzazz. From an early age, she was constantly curious about the world around her and challenged herself to explore a myriad of interesting, entrepreneurial and exhilarating adventures. Audrey’s passion for art came about whilst working for avid art collectors, Sir Paul McCartney & the late Linda McCartney. Audrey developed a keen appreciation for the fine arts and was inspired by some of the world's most prominent abstract, impressionists and pop artists of our time. From the neo-impressionism of Vincent Van Gogh and early works of Pablo Picasso, to the electrifying and thought-provoking works of pop artist Peter Max, Andy Warhol, Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, Robert Rauschenberg and Roy Lichtenstein, Audrey’s interest in the abstract expressionist movement was stimulated. On her journey, she was then to discover the incredible talents of many black abstract artists such as Rashid Johnson, Howardena Pindell, Mark Bradford, David Driskell, Kehinde Wiley, Charles Alston, Jacob Lawrence and of course, the late great Jean Michel Basquiat. Audrey's eyes, soul and spirit would, literally experience the full impact of these incredible artists, their works, life stories, evolution and their methodology of how to intricately interweave paint, colors, fabrication and other elements that bring canvas or substrate to life! Her husband was integral in inspiring, motivating and encouraging her talent and, after a long while of immersion in which Audrey doubted her ability as an artist, she suddenly found her “mojo" and confidence and embraced her own signature style. Feeding and fueling her creative expression gave Audrey the opportunity to explore, create, discover and delve into areas of her artistic learning curve that she never thought would be possible. And as she is still learning new things every day - the journey is an incredible voyage of creative enlightenment.
