Inspired by the analytic cubist works of Picasso, Georges Braque and the wonderful Juan Gris, who is often referred to as the ‘third cubist’. This series is based on my Ned Kelly painting which began life as a collage on canvas, with which I decided to recycle into a cubist still life piece. With some extra digital manipulation I have extracted three different versions from the same painting, mixed in with the original painting I did on the collage of Ned.

I'm largely a self-taught artist except for the one and half years I spent in art class in high school. I draw inspiration from the life around me, and other artists, such as Picasso, Georges-Braque, Turner, George Condo, Basquiat and the fantasy masters Frazetta and Boris, to name just a few. My work hovers in the analytical realms of perception and I'm always trying to envisage things in new and undiscovered ways. Hope you enjoy my gallery, and thank you for stopping by!
