Journey of soul Print

The title of my work is "Journey of Soul." I have always wanted to express my own experiences and spiritual struggles through art. I work with a subjective approach and use pigeons as a symbol for my spiritual journey. In our culture, Pigeons are a symbol of peace, rest, love, sanity and safety as well as being a symbol for spiritual calmness in a South-Asian diaspora. Hence, I use pigeons as a symbol for spirit and soul. In my art works, the pigeons serve as a wonderful example for humans. Pigeons, are the traditional symbols of love and peace and serve as ideal role model for humans by sharing feeding stations and living happily. My spiritual desires are divided into two worlds i.e., the outer materialistic and physical objective world, and the inner sensitive and metaphysical subjective world. Through the installation of my work, I create the golden truth of inner reality in a visual form and have tried to activate the inner world of spectators by triggering curiosity.
