About The Artwork
A digital oil painting on canvas of the exterior of the beautiful Godet perfumery in Saint-Paul de Vence on the French Riviera. The perfumery is located in an old stone building with a window that looks out over the rue Grande, above which hangs a long, floral swag. A café table and chairs sit on the cobblestone sidewalk outside the shop, on which sits a bottle of Godet perfume, a brand that has been created in France for more than 110 years. I primarily used shades of green, pink, beige and red for my quaint French scene.

I prefer the worlds my mind creates to the one in which I live, and though I create all my art to please myself as a rule, nothing thrills me more than when it speaks to someone else as it does me.
