Canvas: My Version : Black Feather Hat, by Gustav Klimt 1910, each image with be hand embellished with acrylic paint. Thereby making each an individual unique image. There is just something about this woman and her face that is so interesting. I was watching a youtube video about Klimt and I saw the picture. I've seen it before, but didn't know who painted it. Klimt was the artist who painted woman in Gold or golden woman using gold leaf. He was also a well paid portrait artist of mostly women, whom he evidently liked. He had many affairs and several children out of wedlock, as they say. This woman has such an interesting look. And the way her head rests in her hands, plus the finger to the mouth. She must have been very risque in her time. Someone knows who she was. Anyway, I liked the image and the woman. I've digitally enhanced it and made her face larger in proportion to the rest of the image. I enjoyed working on this image, the face the hat and the colors. Also I was wondering what kind of feathers and why such a large hat? It must have been the style. Klimt himself dressed in billowing monk type clothes. He died at 55. Signed and numbered on the back by Stephen Peace, certificate of authenticity. Includes an NFT of this image. NFT is part of the Crypto world and is short for a non fungible token.

IF you are interested in a certain type of art look under my "COLLECTIONS". I do abstract painting, digital images, assemblage and collages. The Best Way To Look at ALL of My Art is to look middle right for "ART WORKS", click on that and wait. I am also interested in crypto and crypto art, namely Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) I think it is a new frontier. OpenSea.io/STEVE-P My process: I will "play" with an image, change color or placement, until I think things are just right and the image I end up with is "interesting". I also want the art work to be something that if I bought it I could stand in front of it and notice new things or have new thoughts about the piece at each viewing. In some of my pictures I want you, the viewer, to be sucked into them. I want it to be like you are in a building or museum and something is happening at the other end. You want to walk down the hall in order to get a closer look at the picture. That's one of my goals. Also I have many different things, enhanced photos, frames, paint around my studio with which I can combine images, colors or whatever is available at the time into something new. Many of my digital images are now embellished canvas giclees Limited Editions. I also have Limited Edition embellished prints. My artistic statement , "I want to see deeper and hear deeper". I'm trying! Also, if you buy one or more of my works you have truly bought a really great "Peace" of Art. Thanks to saatchiart.com I have sold works, literally, all over the world!
