About The Artwork

A house on the other side of the lake will remind you of the value of solitude and silence. The main meaning of this work is precisely the feeling of silence. Such silence, when you can hear the snow falling and nothing else. Silence, which is perceived as a refuge and security. And there is hope, hope for comfort, warmth and solitude. The work is abstract and realistic at the same time. The monochrome of the winter landscape has a relief and a rich structure. The density of acrylic and bitumen contrasts with the transparency of the ink, and the spontaneity of the background with carefully drawn elements.

The main goal of my art is to create feelings and sensations. I’m depicting feeling of the sea, light, snow... The feeling of being in a world with vast expanses of turquoise and blue water or white snow-covered wastelands. The feeling of silence, calmness and contemplation... Color, texture, fluidity, shimmer are the tools with which I try to express the beauty of the world, to bring its harmony into the interior. My artworks are not a paintings that hang in a gallery, where you go from one to another, trying to guess what the artist had in mind. I want my art to become the place where your eyes will stop, and your thoughts will run away into the distance, into thoughtlessness and timelessness, as they run away when you look out the window at the snow or the sea ... I started to paint from the fact that I could no longer resist not painting. My journey began with the desire to paint an artwork I would personally like. At this stage my life became almost a hermit. I was so passionate, the whole world for some time completely fell out of focus for me ... I studied, experimented with materials, painted, watched other artists who paint in modern techniques and listened to myself so I could find my own approach in art.
