About The Artwork
The Crows is a series of images exploring lockdown and the desire to be free. This image is one of a series exploring how the crow wants to fly free away from the crowd. The crowd itself in the background is actually a pattern made up from multiple crows. This whole series has very deep connotations that is bound up in a deep desire to be free and to fly away. Many of the images in this series are made up from digitally manipulated oil on water photographs. This image however stands out because it is made up from a patterned background of crows with one bold crow getting ready to fly away.
