This is a collage within a collage. The images used in the main collage which repeats were taken in 2017. The collage is comprised of images set on a denim background. Running down the center is an image of numbers on a digital clock that reads, 20:20. At the top left corner is an image showing the silhouette of a woman with a question mark over her face and upper body. At the bottom left corner is the image of a blue and green map. This collage is then used to create a larger collage on a black background. I was looking through the individual photos and reworking them for a sample project and when I saw the final outcome of each photo, they created a narrative that made me wonder where in the world I would be in 2020. When 2020 came around, I was participating in a creativity challenge and went through my archives to find those photos from 2017 which I then used to create the main collage. In 2017, I had wondered where in the world I would be in 2020 due to uncertainty and in 2020 where I found myself was home because of uncertainty and this time it was the world that was more uncertain than I was. In 2021, after making it through 2020, I created this final collage which encompasses the feeling of 2020 imagined from 2017, revisited in 2020 and processed in 2021 where distance provides a better vision.
