About The Artwork
The series of work that I am currently working on is based around imaginary conversations that I have had with some of my musical icons. They are designed to create small loops of time to allow the viewer space to reflect and reset. The process with which I create the paintings produces analogue imperfections like the warm clicks and crackles on a vinyl record reminding the viewer of a very human relationship. If James Brown were to have a visual conversation with Bridget Riley then this would be the starting point. Whether you are a vinyl lover or just have musical appreciation this painting will provide the silent soundtrack needed for reflection
