About The Artwork
I made a floral summer dress and wore it in my garden. It attracted a butterfly - it must've thought there were real flowers on that dress. So it lingered for a while there, like a precious pin, adorning my dress. This is a study for a floral pattern, to make into dresses and scarves. A soft and layered artwork, with many transparent layers of various shades of pinks, oranges, and purples weaving a summer garden dream. Some soft metallic sheen colours were discriminately used in this painting. Sealed with a matte acrylic sealer. Sides painted white. Ready to hang.
