Mistakes always make for the best art. This piece is a combination of new and old. The old is of a painting I LOVED - my favorite colors of orange, red, and pink. It was slightly damaged so I decided on an ingenious way to fix it that resulted in a destroyed painting. I saved the canvas portion of the piece not knowing what I would do with it and then when painting a new one suddenly became inspired to incorporate the old with the new. It truly has ALL THE THINGS I love and it really is a happy painting.
