About The Artwork

It will sound sad, but our world looks like this now... A very small number of people think about global issues, because this is easier to live. People do not care about the consequences of their actions. The gray mass thinks like this: “Well, everybody do this, so I also can!”... Fashion, popularity, money, entertainment are above other moral values, and gadgets and technologies have enslaved modern human. And with my work I urge everyone to start changing this world for the better from themselves and right now! Let's learn to live in harmony with our planet, and let`s direct modern technologies to the benefit of ecology. After all, the harm is not in technologies, but in their use. Each person is a gardener not only in his small garden, but also on our large planet! Let's all be creators together, not destroyers! And then the technology will not interfere! Notes to the plot of the work: when a person does not use his brain, he loses his identity and the face of the person become being erased. Actually, therefore, the man is depicted faceless. And the little girl just repeats after the adult man. She cannot be faceless, her personality has not even been formed yet, but already begin to forme not the best way, therefore her face is depicted not aesthetically.

My name is Nicole Olegovna Vishnevetska. I was born in Krivoy Rog city. Graduated with honors from Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts with a Master`s degree at a speciality “Artist-restorer of easel and monumental painting”. I worked in the art studio “Scarlet Sails”, taught painting my students and practiced creative workshops. An active participant and winner of the All-Ukrainian exhibitions and competitions. Many of my pictures are kept in private collections of USA, Germany, Spain, Poland, Estonia, Russia and Ukraine. At the moment, I am mainly engaged in painting: I am writing figurative paintings complicated in their interpretation. My direction is mainly symbolism and I put in every picture a kind of question, life situation or conflict. With my works I push the viewer to think, to reflect on the situation or the question posed and even give himself the answer to this question. I love it when the art brings ideas to the masses, and I myself try to follow this principle.
