Maria Riaz is a young full-time artist working on her passion. She is primarily self-taught and has her own approach to art. After studying business administration in university, she started exploring different art styles and mediums. She has since been devoting herself to the creation of original and captivating artwork. She has specialized skills in Arabic Calligraphy, Islamic and Sufi Art. Her inspiration comes from the Holy Quran, Nature, and Rumi. According to her, art is an escape, although it's not a permanent one; rather, it's a much-needed escape. She mostly works with acrylic mediums. Her artworks - in all forms - are highly accessible and are gaining increasing attention on the international stage. Her artworks come with a certificate of authenticity.
