I am a self-taught figurative painter, I started painting in my adolescence then I gave up the practice to devote myself to something else. In recent years, however, I have felt the need to express myself again through drawing and painting. So I decided to resume my self-taught artistic career, deepening through courses in painting, drawing and a lot of practice. I am not looking for technical perfection but for emotion. I particularly love painting portraits that tell moods, the emotions of an instant, frustration and fear, joy, the search for answers. Through my subjects I love to tell stories of the past, present and future. My attention is captured by the looks that reflect hidden worlds full of mystery. For me, painting is going deep, connecting with the most intimate part, and telling the thousand shades of color that reflect us. Painting is like meditating and abandoning the safe paths of reality to sometimes tell an imaginary, surreal and mysterious world made of light and shadows, colours, sounds and silences.
