About The Artwork
The work is inspired by several writings of Friedrich Nietzsche. I hope people will be able to see more than what is obvious. Are we really split into the categories of slaves and masters? Or do both these fragments exist within each person? Horses in my opinion, embody that duality and I would hope that people lean towards that interpretation when they analyse and absorb this painting.
